Today was a day of grand celebration in the Fire Nation; a day that would be forever remembered in the annals of history. The great war, which had lasted for one hundred years, had finally come to a close in the Fire Nations favor. The Fire Nation had finally claimed victory over the lesser peoples of the world; they had finally won! With the power of the comet on their side they had proven to be unstoppable. And now, with the comet gone, they took their place as rulers of the world.
Loud fireworks went off in the sky, and parades and dances were breaking out in the streets the likes of which had never been seen. The elderly dropped to
Fire Lord Zuko sat quietly behind the blazing inferno in front of his throne. His eyes were trained on the bowing figures of the Fire Sages before him; near perfect statues on the floor, waiting for him to give notice to their presence.
You may rise, Zuko said regally, ushering for the Sages to stand.
The Sages stood slowly, trepidation easily recognizable on their withered faces. You summoned us, my Lord? the head Sage asked.
Zuko nodded, though the action was impossible to see clearly behind his fiery curtain. I wish to hear your report for the week. Has her condition changed?

Tales of a Fire Princess 2
When Ty Lee first started practicing her acrobatics she had been terrified of falling. She never practiced balancing on anything even moderately high above the ground, and her flipping routines were always kept very simple. The prospect of hurting herself was something that always held the young contortionist back; she wasnt sure if shed ever get over it.
Until she met the young Princess of the Fire Nation.
When Azula saw how Ty Lee could twist her body into unusual shapes and fly through the air as though it was natural for her to do so, she became quite impressed and wanted to see more of the aspiring acrobats skill. The

It had been so easy
A knife in her fathers back as he retired to his room after a long war meeting. An imperceptible poison in her fuddy-duddy old uncles tea as he sat down for his afternoon cup. A single lightning bolt to her older brothers heart while he sat daydreaming about dragons and glory. And her mother, who had always enjoyed physical affection, received a powerful hug of asphyxiation.
Azula had always wanted her family to love her, but they had always been so busy it was like they hardly noticed she even existed. Now, staring down at their bodies at her feet, the Princess knew that they could finally be her

Plotting and scheming and acting all sweet
Secretly setting a trap for your feet

The princess once lived in the palace,
From her mouth she threw flames of malice,
Then she was chained,
To a grimy old drain,
And left to feel all but helpless...

Out of the darkness, the princess came,
The one who controls the dreaded blue flame,
You try to keep your head, let her lies unfold,
But when she whispers, your blood runs cold,
She smiles sweetly, gives praise to your skill,
While in her mind, her only thought is "Kill!"

Azula always seemed like such a strong child. She was wistful, intelligent, skilled, and far more mature than most children her age; a prodigy in every sense of the word. If there was something that the young Princess didnt know, shed learn; if there was something she wanted, shed find a way to get it. No matter what the situation was, Azula always managed to bend it to her will and come out on top.
It was realizations such as these that helped Ursa survive during her exile. Throughout the years of wandering and solitude, the onetime Princess of the Fire Nation would often find her thoughts drifting to her only daughter. U
There was something about the large corridors of the Fire Nation palace that just made them fun to walk through. Ever since she was a little girl, Ty Lee had loved to just look around at the ornate pillars that held the structure up, and the beautiful tapestries that had the commanding visages of Firelords past embroidered into them. It was easy to get lost in the history that the dark red walls of the palace held securely tacked to them. Of course, sometimes it was also just easy to get lost. The palace was a huge place after all.
Regardless, Ty Lee had learned her way around well enough to know that she was nearing the Firelords audi

I received an e-mail from the English department of my college yesterday. In short, I've officially been invited to join Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honors Society.
It seems that all the years of introverted social behavior and lackluster peer relationships in favor of reading and writing have finally paid off. :XD:

Haven't made a journal in a while or played one of these little games, and this one seemed like fun. :D
Anywho, people who want to play are just supposed to answer the following questions in their posts on this journal:
1. Who are you?
2. Are we friends?
3. When and how did we meet?
4. How have I affected you?
5. What do you think of me?
6. What's the fondest memory you have of me?
7. How long do you think we will be friends?
8. Do you love me?
9. Do you have a crush on me?
10. Would you kiss me?
11. Would you hug me?
12. Physically, what stands out?
13. Emotionally, what stands out?
14. Do you wish I was cooler?
15. On a scal
The Manic Mob has awesome members. The Manic Mob has a catchy name. The Manic Mob even has its own official fanboy (that's a shout out to you, Ech0plex) and its own seafaring vessel (which I proudly dubbed the Floating Psycho Ward). But do you, my fellow Mob members, know what the Manic Mob does not have?
No, the answer isn't a fortress of doom - as cool as that would be. The real answer is: a collaborative project. That's right, Mobsters, we don't have an awesome collaborative project.
And that is why, under suggestion from Capt-BA, I have made this journal and called the first full meeting of the Mob. We think it would be a great idea to
