The Manic Mob has awesome members. The Manic Mob has a catchy name. The Manic Mob even has its own official fanboy (that's a shout out to you, Ech0plex) and its own seafaring vessel (which I proudly dubbed the Floating Psycho Ward). But do you, my fellow Mob members, know what the Manic Mob does not have?

No, the answer isn't a fortress of doom - as cool as that would be. The real answer is: a collaborative project. That's right, Mobsters, we don't have an awesome collaborative project.

And that is why, under suggestion from Capt-BA, I have made this journal and called the first full meeting of the Mob. We think it would be a great idea to work on a little something that all the Mob members can be a part of. However, what we're looking for right now is suggestions.

So what do you think, Mob? Would it be both awesome and really fun to work on a collaborative project between us? Obviously we can't do anything if no one wants to, but if we're all game for it I think we could make something that we'd all enjoy.

As I said though, coming up with what to do is going to be a bit tricky. So I'm going to get off my figurative soapbox here and if we all start tossing ideas out we'll come up with something in no time.

I’ll keep this journal updated with our big ideas as we go along. To conserve space in everyone’s in-boxes I’ll use minor updates, that way a new journal won’t pop up each time I add something here.

1.) A follow-up to PrinceofKnaves' April Fools day joke, entitled "Avatar: Year One." (see the comments for link to that journal)

2.) An alternate universe comic where Azula wins the Agni Kai during Sozin's Comet and continues to wage war.

Here are a few more ideas that we can possibly choose from.

3.) Another alternate universe idea where Azula and Aang team up to terrorize the world because Aang's spirit becomes "corrupted" when he tries to use energybending.

4.) A rather...unique...idea involving Aang, Katara, Sokka and sweet, sweet lovin'. Yeah, you read that correctly. See the comments between Jewel, Ech0, and myself here [link] for a somewhat better idea.

Jewel suggested that ideas #2 and #3 be merged together. Combining them would be an excellent way to make a good base for the alternate universe idea. Thus, the new overall idea would be as follows:

5.) An alternate universe comic/fanfic where Azula wins the Agni Kai against Zuko and Katara during Sozin's Comet and continues to wage war with the help of a "soul-corrupted" Avatar Aang thanks to an energybending failure.

RavaT has come up with another idea for us drool over. So far it sounds epic! It's quite long, so be prepared to read a bit. Here it is, copied straight from his post:

6.) "Have you ever realised that when Azula has pawned and imprisoned someone, then she always did nothing to them? Seems she does what she is told, and kinda seems like acting cruel and cold while doing so, but never hurts a prisoner as far as we know of.

So... my idea is: Ozai is pawned like in canon, Ba Sing Se is freed and all. And Azula wins the Agni Kai.
Now what about her craziness? It must have changed a bit... What if she got some other hallucinations telling her other things.
Mai and Ty Lee's betrayal are important, so is Zuko leaving. And her idea to want to burn down all of EK prior Zuko leaving is also important, since it not really fits the way Azula acted so far - being effective and cunning, but not hurting the ones defeated.
So, I say this happened because she wanted to please daddy, duh.

And I want this to have Ty Zula in it (see my sig for my motto)

So where is all that leading to: indeed I want Azula to get back to her mind and get a conscious. Or better: that she did have one all the time, but just suppressed it to be a better weapon for daddy dear.

And now she kinda is able to re-think all of it. And gets visions of more people: Mai, Ty Lee, Zuko, Ozai, Aang, Roku.

And she decides after she pawned Zuko and Katara, to first imprison not only the whole gang, but to also keep Ozai imprisoned and takes turns to speak with anyone of the prisoners. She is allowing Ty Lee out under strict surveillance and order to keep the most able benders disabled, and that would be Toph due to metalbending, and Aang.
Toph is kept in a wooden padded cell in TBR, all others in TBR as well...

And now, she questions every single one of them and so learns more and more about all of them. And she also questions Ty Lee, learning she did what she did so that both Mai and Ty Lee won't get hurt physically. [Azula is hurting, for sure...]

And Azula ponders and re-thinks her ideas and believes, realizing that she did do wrong, and that the FN also did do wrong, but still she wants to appear strong in the face of others, so she struggles.
In the end she realizes that her torn spirit will not get better when she just goes on with her ways, and decides to change: keep the cold and cruel exterior, but in truth change her inner self and start more caring for others and her nation.
And she wants Ursa to be found [and imprisoned and questioned like the others] so...

Here we need some new details... She kinda let a new prison complex be build by the Dai Li she accepts back [but still not trusts] near the capitol and keeps all of the named prisoners there, including a new cell for Ursa. Oh, and maybe by now she also keeps Hakoda imprisoned to question him, to learn more about the siblings and the way their family so far worked.

Now she ponders who could be used to get Ursa. She now heard about June. And wants one to contact her. And wants to choose one of her prisoners, but not Ozai.

So, whom to choose? Who would stick to his word to get Ursa back and not backstabbing her?
Ty Lee? Zuko? Aang?

So far the plot bunny....

[Time skip]

In the end, Azula is firelord, Ty Lee her consort, and all prisoners are freed, Ursa is back, only Ozai stays imprisoned, facing a trial.
She keeps her cold cruel outside, but out of small hints by now all the gaang realize she is not that bad and willing to work for peace, and so the gaang even helps in subduing a rebellion against her."

The first order of business is a quick addendum to RavaT's idea. He said he'd like to see the following:

"All I want is: Azula, like we love her. With the gaang. Together. That's just a good ground lever for awkward situations..."

".... I would have no problems with - in the end - adding a Ty Zula hot springs scene with Sokka wanting to spy on the nekkid girls."

"Anyway, what would happen when on Maiko wedding, Mai's uncle and the Avatar consort's father meet?"

In other news, I've added a line between edits to help make viewing them and their individual changes easier. Also, Jewel and Cap have come up with a little hotspring idea of their own.

6.) Essentially a "hotspring" episode of Avatar. Sokka wants spy on the girls while they're relaxing in a hotspring and manages to convince the others boys to come along with him. At the same time, Aang gets in touch with his "inner Kyoshi" to help his bumbling buds learn how to love their ladies better.

As the Captain stated in her post: "Since we've got two sets of sibs there will prob be some 'Oh gawd, my eyes!' moments."

Obviously the logistics of this idea would be a bit wonky, since nearly every character would need to be at the hotspring for one reason or another. A possible reason could be an Ember Island vacation, or something. Regardless, the laugh factor to this idea is really high.
